Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) – New Jersey

We are seeking motivated and compassionate Licensed Associate Counselors (LAC) to join our telehealth practice. This role is ideal for recent graduates and pre-licensed clinicians seeking to build their clinical hours toward their full New Jersey LPC licensure in a supportive and structured environment. You will have the flexibility to create your own schedule while receiving consistent referrals, allowing for steady caseload growth and ongoing clinical experience.

• Opportunity to build a caseload of 25+ clients per week based on your availability.
• Note: Evening and/or weekend availability is a strong plus and may lead to faster caseload growth.

• Provide individualized psychotherapy utilizing secure telehealth platforms to enhance accessibility.
• Conduct thorough biopsychosocial assessments and develop SMART, tailored treatment plans.
• Maintain effective, compassionate communication with clients to ensure a supportive therapeutic environment.
• Maintain timely and highly accurate clinical documentation (progress notes within 24-48 hours).
• Stay updated on best practices in mental health care and actively participate in ongoing professional development and supervision.

• Licensure: Active New Jersey Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) license.
• Education: Master’s degree in Counseling or a related field that meets NJ board requirements.
• Commitment: Strong dedication to completing hours toward full NJ LPC licensure.
• Skills: Strong clinical, organizational, and documentation skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote setting.

• Dedicated Clinical Supervision: We provide the required weekly clinical supervision to support you on your path to your full NJ LPC license.
• Steady Referrals & Admin Support: We supply a consistent flow of client referrals to help you build your caseload quickly. We handle all the billing, credentialing, and administrative tasks—no insurance paperwork required on your end.
• Comprehensive Benefits: We take care of our W-2 employees. Clinicians who maintain a full-time caseload (25+ clients/week) and complete 3 months of employment are eligible for Health, Dental, and Vision insurance, a 401(k), and professional development assistance.

• Prior clinical or internship experience in private practice or community mental health.
• Experience navigating EHR systems and telehealth platforms.
• Bilingual Candidates Strongly Encouraged: We are specifically looking for clinicians fluent in Spanish, Russian, Mandarin, Hindi, or Urdu to help us serve our diverse client base and foster inclusivity.
